Another year, another change of plans as Coronavirus continues to frustrate travel. We swapped 2 weeks in Mongolia for a weeklong motorbike adventure closer to home. The wild Atlantic Way is a 1500 mile stretch of coastal road that spans the whole of the west of Ireland. We probably tried packing in a bit too much into an 8 day trip, but what we saw left us wanting more and I’m sure some day soon we will return.
We left from Wiltshire on the Saturday, where I was picking up my new (to me) Yamaha Tenere 700. We then rode up to Liverpool, took the overnight ferry to Belfast where we started our Irish adventure.
