I’ve been eyeing up a trip to the balkans for quite a while, and even had a motorbike trip to Albania cancelled due to Covid. This time we made it stick, and me and Amelia headed off to Montenegro with our bags and camping kit to rent a 4x4 and tour the country over a week.
One of the most consistently beautiful countries i’ve travelled through, i’d recommend it as a holiday destination to everyone - although the food leaves a lot to be desired. Whats’ amazing about Montenegro is how easy it is to get very wild and remote. Most roads off the main roads quickly turn in to dirt tracks and carve through beautiful valleys and then into incredible mountains.
